We're a small, family-owned property management company based in San Ramon, CA. The portfolio is intentionally limited. We'd rather manage fewer properties well than more of them adequately.

Built to serve owners and tenants well.

Dara O'Farrell founded Bay Vista PM in September 2016 with a focused goal: build a management company owners could trust and tenants could rely on.

In practice, that meant maintaining properties before issues escalated, returning calls the same day, and earning relationships that lasted years. Good property management is less about the visible work and more about the relationships behind it that hold up over time.

Sean O'Farrell joined in August 2020 and took over as principal in January 2023. Under Sean, the company has expanded across the Bay Area, with the same focus on responsive service and accountable communication. Bay Vista PM is a member of NARPM and operates under CA DRE #02020997.

2016
Bay Vista PM founded in San Ramon, CA. Dara O'Farrell sets the company's first goal: be the property manager owners and tenants can both rely on.
2020
Sean O'Farrell joins the company, taking on operations and growing Bay Vista's presence across the Bay Area.
2023
Sean takes over as Owner & Principal. Company expands service area and deepens its partnership with Bay Vista Construction for in-house maintenance.
Today
Serving owners and tenants across four counties: Contra Costa, Alameda, Marin, and Sonoma. Still the same family-owned business as in 2016.

Sean joined Bay Vista PM in August 2020 and took over as principal in January 2023. His responsibilities span business strategy, leasing, operations, marketing, and vendor partnerships.

Since taking over, Sean has rebuilt the company's digital presence, improved Meta ad performance for leasing, and built out the operational systems that make Bay Vista's flat-rate model scalable.

Roni Gray
Controller & HR Manager

Roni has been in Bay Area property management since 2001, starting at the Meyer family of companies. Her experience spans both accounting and operations across banking and property management.

At Bay Vista, Roni serves as Controller and HR Manager. She manages financial reporting, owner accounting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, monthly financial statements, and year-end tax reporting.

Known for: detailed owner reporting packages tailored to each client, and long-standing relationships with the brokers and bankers Bay Vista works with.

Alexandra O'Farrell
Administrative Assistant

Alexandra came to Bay Vista PM after working at fast-paced startups, where she handled competing priorities and tracked the small details under pressure.

She applies that same attention here, keeping administrative processes organized and client communications on schedule. Her work touches every operational detail of the company.

Bay Vista Construction.

Bay Vista Construction is our California-licensed general contracting partner. When maintenance or renovation work is needed at a property we manage, Bay Vista Construction handles it in-house. No third-party bids. No vendor-coordination delays.

For owners, this means faster turnaround on repairs and a team that already knows your property. We don't have to source new vendors every time something comes up.

How it works: Before we take over your property, we agree on a maintenance spend threshold. Repairs below it happen without interrupting you. Anything above it goes to you for approval first. Bay Vista Construction executes the work, and the cost appears as a line item on your monthly statement.
