We're a small, family-owned property management company based in San Ramon, CA. Every property we manage is treated with the same care and attention we'd give our own — because we believe that's the only standard worth holding ourselves to.

Bay Vista PM was founded in September 2016 by Dara O'Farrell — with a straightforward goal: provide the kind of property management that owners could genuinely trust and tenants could genuinely rely on.

That means maintaining properties proactively, communicating clearly and promptly, and treating every home in our portfolio as if it were our own. Good property management isn't just about collecting rent and dispatching repairs — it's about building relationships with owners and tenants that hold up over time.

Sean O'Farrell joined in August 2020 and took over as principal in January 2023. Under Sean's leadership, the company has continued to grow across the greater Bay Area while deepening its commitment to responsive, accountable service. We're affiliated with NARPM and operate under CA DRE #02020997.

Sean O'Farrell joins the company — bringing focus to operations, client relationships, and growing the company's presence across the Bay Area.
2023
Sean takes over as Owner & Principal. Company expands service area and deepens its partnership with Bay Vista Construction for in-house maintenance.

Serving owners and tenants across 4 counties. Contra Costa, Alameda, Marin, and Sonoma — same commitment to care, same team.

Sean joined Bay Vista PM in August 2020 and took over as principal in January 2023. He oversees the full scope of the company — business strategy, client relationships, leasing, operations, marketing, and vendor partnerships.

Since taking over, Sean has focused on sharpening Bay Vista's competitive position in the Bay Area market: rebuilding the company's digital presence, improving Meta ad performance for leasing, and building out the systems that make Bay Vista's flat-rate model work at scale.

Roni Gray
Controller & HR Manager

Roni has been part of the Bay Area property management world since 2001, when she joined the Meyer family of companies. She brings deep accounting and operations expertise — having worked across banking and property management throughout her career.

At Bay Vista, Roni serves as Controller and HR Manager, overseeing financial reporting, owner accounting, payroll, and administrative operations. Her experience includes accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, fixed asset management, monthly financial statements, and annual tax reporting.

Known for: customized owner reporting packages and maintaining excellent relationships with brokers and bankers.

Alexandra O'Farrell
Administrative Assistant

Alexandra joined Bay Vista PM with a background in rapid-growth start-up companies, where she developed a sharp ability to manage competing priorities without losing track of the details that matter.

She brings that same attention to detail to her work here — whether it's keeping administrative processes organized, supporting client communications, or making sure nothing slips through the cracks across day-to-day operations. Her care and precision are felt across every part of the business she touches.

Bay Vista Construction is our California-licensed general contracting partner. When maintenance or renovation work is needed at a property we manage, Bay Vista Construction handles it directly — no third-party bids, no delays, no coordination overhead.

For our property owners, this means faster turnaround, a team that already knows your property, and repair work handled by people we trust — without the friction of sourcing and managing outside vendors every time something comes up.

How it works: Before we take over your property, we agree on a maintenance threshold. Below that amount, repairs are handled without interrupting you. Above it, you approve before anything is scheduled. Bay Vista Construction executes, and you receive a clear line item on your monthly statement.
